Ayyamiha at the Ruhest 2008

Anna, Aria, James, and Sasha shook their collective fists at the incoming snow storm and came visiting for Ayyamiha on Friday. You guys really are amazing. Thanks again for coming out. Sasha woke up in our driveway from a nap in the car and said, “Casa de Tio Colin”! She is getting so big. Britt put together an amazing birthday/ayyamiha dinner for all of us consisting of rice, beans, and crunchy, crispy salad (a meal more perfect simply does not exist anywhere in the known universe). Birthday cake, singing and some presents happened. Mom sent me a new skillet which got put to use the next morning with a serious round of blue berry pancakes and the making of breakfast burritos… (ok can anybody tell what time of day it is right now while I write this? I will give you a hint… plenty of descriptions of food). The snow did deliver with another 6-8 inches. I spent 1.5 hours trying out the new electric snow blower someone gave Alfie. Then we all went to Cherry Hill golf course for a great hour of sledding. Anna hadn’t been since she was 13!!! We had another fairly successful children’s class and went to see Spyderwick… which ended up being a really scary movie… a sort of horror movie for kids… we enjoyed it but were shocked at the tenseness… We thought Aman would wake up scared lots but nothing happened. He is growing up so much. Well the fast is here… a seriously spacey season in which I tend to get tons done… very spacedly focused…. Low energy but constant… it is an amazing time.
